Lodging

Four types of lodging are available at Haycock.  In each area, excluding tent sites, there are bunks with mattresses.  Groups need to supply their own sleeping bags and/or bedding.  Bathrooms are stocked with paper supplies.  Groups must provide their own towels and toiletries.
 
bulletLodge
The lodge is a two story building with one main meeting area and 12 rooms with a total of 45 beds.  The rooms are heated with electric while the meeting area is heated only by a fireplace.  Bathrooms are located in the dining hall.

There are six blockhouses that form Haycock's stockade.  Each blockhouse has two cabins with ten beds in each for a combined total of 100 beds.  Each cabin is heated.   The bathrooms are in a separate building within the stockade fence.

Four separate lean-to sites with three buildings and an open fire pit at each site are located a little ways into the woods.  There are a total of 60 beds, 15 at each site.   Bathrooms are located in the dining hall.

bulletTent Sites
Many sites with open fire pits are available for groups that wish to tent camp.   Groups are responsible to bring their own tents, sleeping bags and pads.   Bathrooms are located in the dining hall.
 

Food Service

bulletWe are now offering optional food service for guest groups.   Arrangements MUST be made well in advance and an additional deposit will be required.  Contact the office for further details.
bulletFor groups who wish to do their own cooking, our kitchen is stocked with the necessary pots, pans and utensils as well as plates, cups and silverware to feed between 120 and 140 people.  Groups need to supply their own staples and food as well as tinfoil, plastic wrap and paper products.
bulletGroups may cook out at their lean-to sites, tent sites or any other open fire pit site located in camp.  Each group is responsible to provide its own pots and utensils for outdoor cooking.  Groups should follow commonly held minimum impact camping guidelines.

Specialized Activities

bulletHorses
Ring or trail rides are available for small groups at a time.  This activity is staffed by Haycock and must be scheduled in advance.
bulletRopes Course/Initiatives
The low ropes course and initiatives area is staffed by Haycock for small groups.   This activity must be scheduled in advance.
bulletCanoeing
Haycock has several canoes that may be rented with the trailer, life jackets and paddles. 
bulletHayrides
Groups may schedule a hayride for up to 25 people at a time.
bulletNature Walks
Groups are free to explore the many trails covering our 200 acres.

Target Sport Activities

bulletRiflery/Sling Shots
Haycock will provide all necessary equipment, supplies and ammunition for rim fire, air rifle, shot gun and sling shot ranges. (Groups MAY staff these area themselves if they have the proper certifications or experience.)
bulletArchery
Haycock will provide bows, arrows and targets.  Groups may staff this area themselves.

Misc.

bulletCleaning
Groups are required to clean the facilities they used prior to checking out.  This includes sleeping areas, bathrooms, kitchen (if doing their own cooking), activity areas and fireplaces.  Cleaning supplies are provided by the camp.
bulletAdditional Heat
Portable gas run, hot air blowers are available for additional heat in the lodge and dining hall.  Contact the office for further details.
