River Canoe/Kayak

Learn how to handle a canoe/Kayak as you cruise down the Delaware.  While canoeing/kayaking, enjoy all the sights and sounds of God's creation along the way.

Ropes Course

While enjoying the thrills of a low ropes course, students will learn team building, cooperation, communication and other valuable life lessons and spiritual applications.

Horsemanship

Learn western riding technique, horse care and handling from a CHA certified instructor.  (Level 1 must be taken prior to Level 2.)

Outdoor Cooking

Students will learn how to build cooking fires as well as cook their own lunch and dessert.

Ceramics

Students who wish to attend ceramics will need to attend ALL 3 SESSIONS as they learn all steps of ceramic art including pouring, removing, firing, painting, glazing and re-firing.

Rocketry

Students will learn the basic characteristics of rockets, related laws of science and basic rocket knowledge as well as build their own rocket that can be launched.

Marksmanship

Students will learn how to develop their skills in the area of target sports.  Depending on the age, sling shots, bb's .22's and shotguns will be available for them to shoot.

Archery

Students will learn basic archery skills such as how to become more consistent as well as having ample enough time to practice their newfound skills.

Lake Canoeing/ Lake Kayaking

Students will learn basic skills on Lake Nockamixon, a great place for beginners to develop a love for the sport.

Come early or stay late and bring your lunch!   Eat in the Dining Hall or at a picnic table.  NOTE:  Haycock will NOT be providing lunch (except for the River Canoe/Kayak Classes).

Children not registered for a class must be supervised by their parent(s).  There are areas available for quiet study as well as places to simply run around.

NOTE:  a registration form specifically for Homeschool Programs can be printed from the following link:  Homeschool Registration
