Boys Mini Camp

For the first time camper or those who wish to get a taste of overnight-camp; this is the best of summer camp crammed into one half week.  Ease your way into a full week away as our low camper-to-counselor ratio fosters quick relationships and and an atmosphere of comfort for those new to camp. Have a blast enjoying all of the exciting activities Haycock has to offer. Bunk in our stockade cabins and enjoy archery, air riflery, horses, and more.  Campers will watch the Bible come to life each day, as they laugh at Super Heroes and study their super Bible counterparts, learning how to take action for Christ in their daily lives.

Crank up the fun with this exciting week of camp. Canoeing on the lake, .22 riflery, and an overnight teepee stay are just a few elements boosting this program up to the next level. Boys choose to focus on archery or Riflery, earning marksmanship awards as they learn safety tips and spiritual life lessons.

The ultimate outdoor experience for young men; spend time canoeing on the Delaware, trail-riding on horseback,  rock climbing, and shooting shotguns, along with everything else Haycock has to offer. Evenings are spent around the campfire at your lean-to site, gleaning from God’s word and making friendships that last a lifetime.

Girls Horsemanship Weekend - Horse Training (NEW!!)

Riding a horse and training a horse are two very different things. Training must be part of a horse’s daily routine. The more you understand horses and how they communicate, the more responsive they will be to your instruction. Learn tips and tools on the ground that can then be applied in the saddle. Delve into God’s word and discover how our relationships with the horses we train can be a picture of God’s relationship with us. No prior experience necessary, but may be beneficial.

Girls Horsemanship Weekend - Mounted Games (NEW!!)

Mounted games are played on horseback and are tons of fun, but can also be used as tools to teach advanced horsemanship. Games skills will improve riders’ effectiveness as you are forced to think on your feet and challenged to ride to the best of your ability.  Even the horses have competitive natures.  Working as a team teaches the significance of fellowship in our Christian walk. Riders must be able to walk, trot, and control a horse confidently.

Girls Discipleship Horse Program (NEW!!)

Lessons in horse training combined with lessons for spiritual growth creates a unique opportunity for strengthening your walk with God! Just as a horse must learn to love and  obey it’s trainer, we need to learn how to lovingly and obediently follow Christ as His disciples.  Students will spend 3 weeks working in our barn being challenged physically and spiritually and in week 4 apply what they learned by serving and sharing their experience with the campers at Girls’ Week.  For more details and to apply visit www.livingwaterstables.org or call 215-915-9475.

Teen girls are challenged emotionally, physically, and spiritually during the week through activities including canoeing, rock climbing, hiking, and a Christian service project.  Sleep the night away at our lean-to sites and be encouraged by female counselors to build relationships and grow in God’s truth.

Girls Horsemanship

 Own a horse for a week!  This camp is for the beginner rider or those who have never ridden.  Learn the basics of English riding and horse care.  As well as daily lessons, campers will also go on trail rides, ride bareback, play games on horseback, and prepare for a Friday evening show.  Other camp activities also included.

Family Camp

Bring the whole family for an experience at camp that you will never forget; from canoeing and hiking through the woods, to horseback riding and so much more! Spending time in God’s word each morning and evenings around the campfire will challenge you to grow closer to each other and your Heavenly Father.  Meals are included, along with the option to stay in our stockade cabins, lean-tos, or tent sites. Adventure Week

Every day, a new adventure awaits for the thrill seekers who love the outdoors. Kayaking, rock climbing, and an overnight canoe trip are sure to fit the bill. Let God shape you as you enjoy all that his creation has to offer. Some traditional camp activities will be included in the schedule.

Skirmish Adventure (Added an additional week !!!)

Paintball enthusiasts wanted! Gear up for a week full of fun and paintball skirmish morning to night. Learn life lessons through spiritual application on the paintball battlefield. Some traditional camp activities will be included in the schedule. Cost includes paintballs and CO2. Personal equipment must be evaluated upon arrival to maintain fair play standards.

Marksmen

Kick it up a notch with our adventure week specifically focused on target sports. Campers will grow in their knowledge of archery and riflery techniques through focused instruction with bows, .22 rifles, and shotguns, as well as other high powered rifles.  Other camp activities included.

Aviation

July 22 - 27

A program specifically designed for a select group of young men seriously interested in aviation, campers will receive primary flight instruction along with basic ground instruction and computer simulation, weather permitting. A trip to a local airport and mentoring sessions conducted by certified pilots are just a few highlights of the week. Proof of U.S.A. citizenship is required.  (This program is subject to a minimum enrollment of 4 and maximum of 8)

Music Camp

Music enthusiasts wanted! Whether you strum the guitar, bang on a drum, rock the keyboard, or just love to sing, this adventure week is for you. Sign up today and enjoy playing in a band, leading worship at our closing ceremonies, and learning new praise songs.  Use your God given talents to bring him glory. Horsemen

Join us this week to learn western riding techniques as you spend time caring for the daily needs of our horses and receive valuable instruction. Spend numerous hours in the saddle and participate in other camp activities as well while growing in your spiritual walk with God.

Leadership Growth Program

Boys 15 – 16*

June 24 – August 3

This six week program couples physical hardship training with intense spiritual discipleship to foster the development of boys into godly leaders. Phase 1 includes the challenges of wilderness camping, hiking, and canoeing, along with the physical conditioning of running and swimming. Phase 2 emphasizes the development of leadership qualities through staff apprenticeship in all areas of our camp program. Interwoven throughout training is the spiritual principle that God uses all experiences, including those of hardship, to prepare willing hearts to serve him.

* Acceptance to the LGP program is pending an application and personal interview prior to camp. Interested young men must turn 15 by June 24, 2012.
